Q: Hello—please help! I have natural red hair and I'm never sure what to do with it. I have a full fringe (which I like), and quite fine, light hair.

Bryony wants a hairstyle that will enhance her natural red colour.

I would love to have really long, flowing, Amy Adams-esque locks, but I can never manage it. At the moment I feel like my hair is a bit boring and I don't make the most of my natural colour. Any advice would be great! Thanks! — Bryony

A: Bryony, it must be really hard to be such a natural beauty…

Your hair is terrific as it is. It has character and a beautiful colour. So any cut that you or your hair could handle would be worth the adventure.

I think this style would be great for you:

Amy Adams at the 2005 premiere of 'The Producers.'

Growing out the bang is not much fun, but worth it if you desire change. My client that I cut today has been growing out her bangs and is happy with the style shift.

This is a great style to handle the bang grow-out:

Lea Michele's bangs, pinned to one side.

As it grows, you can wear it as a long side bang.

Emma Stone at the 2013 Madrid premiere of 'The Help.'

Also a deep side part with some curl would be a fantastic option to straight.

Isla Fisher at the 2013 premiere of 'The Great Gatsby.'

Amy Adams at the 2009 premiere of 'Sunshine Cleaning'.

I find sometimes when the bangs grow out, they add to the thickness and the volume of the hair. This could be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on the hair. I think it is worth a try if you've ever questioned, "Should I or shouldn't I grow my bangs out?"
