Q: Hi there! My name is Gina and I'm thinking about growing out my pixie cut to something softer, less tough-looking.
My hair colour is a chestnut brown, and is poker straight. It is extremely thick and I need to get it cut at least once a month. Thank you for taking the time to do my consultation! — Gina

Not very many people have this much hair, but if you persevere, you could have luscious long locks like these:
Chestnut brown really suits you and I would not be messing around with colour until you settle on a style. I find colouring along the way hinders the growing process because of damage and unwanted shades. That's when the scissors come back out.
Best of luck on your growing quest and have as much fun as you can along the way.
