Q: I need a Life Cut and Colour. I like my hair long, but straight or curled?

Blonde or brunette?

I have a lot of hair, but it's fine—so when I make a ponytail or braid, it's not very full. Help me please!! — Conny

A: Conny, you are obviously talented in making your hair do what you want it to do...

This cut and colour would be so fresh on you with your curls:

Audrey Tautou at the 2009 Rome photocall for 'A Very Long Engagement'.

The style shows off more of your cheekbones and jawline. This cut could be blonde as well, but I think the darker colour is more striking.

If you go dark, then you will need to change up your makeup palette as well.

For a straight look, this style with less volume on top and a side-swept bang would be so flattering:

Lisa Loeb at the 2011 premiere of 'Enlightened'.

Once again, a darker colour with this shorter length will add more shine.

This is a looser version of this cut, to which you could add a little curl to the ends:

Mid-length, layered brown hair.

So the grand finale… a long style for you with a wonderful colour:

Long, wavy brown hair with side bangs.

The part deep and on a diagonal to the crown with this side-swept bang will open up your face—also exposing the one side of your face to show off your beautiful bone structure.

I'm sure you will be able to achieve these waves and curls with your styling abilities.

The darker base colour with soft random highlights will show off the movement of this style for you.
