You'd never guess it from looking at her, but even Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has skin issues.

"I've always had a little bit of acne," she recently revealed on YouTube. "On a good day, I would say I probably have just a couple of spots, and on a bad day, it could be a lot. It's something I'm always trying to keep in check. So I'm quite diligent about my skincare routine."

That makes sense, since the 32-year-old model and actress makes a living from her complexion. "It's the most important thing—it's my canvas for the makeup artists I work with—so that comes first. [But] it's not something that comes really easily for me. Travelling for sure messes it up."

To cope with her acne-prone skin and non-stop schedule, Rosie keeps her regimen "really simple. I don't like too many products in my cabinet. I don't want to confuse my skin too much. I don't want to travel with a million products, either—that's a nightmare."

Instead, she's loyal to a select few professional skincare lines ("I believe in investing in the best skincare you can afford") and books in regularly with her facialist, dermatologist and naturopathic doctor.

is Clinical Pro-Heal Serum Advance+: "Pro-Heal has been really good to me when I've had acne. When [facialist Shani Darden and I] first started working with each other, my skin was not great. And [she] put me on Active Serum for the evening and then Pro-Heal for the day, and that really, really helped. I've loved their products ever since."

3. Moisturizer:

iS Clinical Hydra-Cool Serum

iS Clinical Hydra-Cool Serum

iS Clinical Hydra-Cool Serum: "If I'm dry, I might apply a little bit of iS Clinical's Hydra Cool Serum, which is a gel-based moisturizer. I don't do well with heavy creams; they break me out."

4. Sunscreen:

Control Corrective Oil Free Sunscreen SPF 30: "Once [my moisturizer has] settled, I'll apply a Control Corrective sunscreen. I try and wear sun cream every day on my hands and face."

5. Lip Balms:

Lanolips Banana Balm Lip Sheen 3-in-1

Lanolips Banana Balm Lip Sheen 3-in-1

Lanolips Banana Balm Lip Sheen 3-in-1: "Lanolips is this really cool brand that's made in Australia. Lanolin is an ingredient that is found in sheep's wool. That sounds kind of iffy, but it's one of the most hydrating, natural nutrients that there is. It's great for dry lips, dry skin, dry cuticles, nasal passages perhaps when you're flying. [The banana] is probably my favourite one. This does have a little bit of a sheen in it."

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm

Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm: "I really love just straight Burt's Bee's Lip Balm because it's easy and doesn't leave too much of a shine. I don't want my lips to be too shiny."

By Terry Baume de Rose: "I also like By Terry's Baume de Rose. It has a nice sheen to it, and I like the texture and the scent of that."

Caudalie Beauty Elixir: "I use it throughout my entire day. It tones and tightens, boosts radiance, sets makeup... it's refreshing and rejuvenating."

Rosie’s Nighttime Skincare Routine

1. Makeup Removers:

Bioderma Sensibio H2O

Bioderma Sensibio H2O

Bioderma Sensibio H2O: "I like to remove my eye makeup first with something really gentle. I just soak a cotton pad with the Bioderma and then I press this into my eye and just kind of wiggle it back and forth. This is probably one of the most gentle eye makeup removers I have ever used. I actually learned about this product backstage at a fashion show maybe 10 years ago. I'd been really suffering from removing my makeup with various different makeup removers that left my eyes feeling puffy and sore. I've got really, really sensitive eyes, so this is one of the only things that I will remove my makeup with."

Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water

Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water

Caudalie Micellar Cleansing Water: "I put it on a cotton pad and then I remove my eye makeup. I think it's always very important when removing your eye makeup to try to be gentle and not rub too much. That way you aren't going to wake up with puffy eyes in the morning."

Kopari Coconut Balm

Kopari Coconut Balm

Kopari Coconut Balm: "If I've got stubborn makeup, which is often the case obviously when I come back from a shoot, or waterproof mascara, I'll actually use a little bit of oil. Coconut oil is great because it's on the more natural side."

2. Cleanser:

iS Clinical Warming Honey Cleanser

iS Clinical Warming Honey Cleanser

iS Clinical Warming Honey Cleanser: "It's basically like washing your face with honey. It is so beautiful. It's going to add a lot of hydration, it's incredibly gentle and it's good for problematic skin types like mine. You can almost apply it a little bit like a mask and leave it on for a few minutes, and it warms up with your skin so all of the amazing ingredients get a chance to sink into your skin."

3. Cleansing Brush:

Clarisonic Mia Smart 3-in-1 Connected Sonic Beauty Device

Clarisonic Mia Smart 3-in-1 Connected Sonic Beauty Device

Clarisonic brush: "One of my favourite things to do—especially when I come back from work or from a night out—is to use the Clarisonic brush. It's great for really, really cleaning the skin of any makeup, impurities, or any dirt that has built up throughout the day."

4. Toner:

Santa Maria Novella Acqua de Rosi

Santa Maria Novella Acqua de Rosi

Santa Maria Novella Acqua de Rosi: "I soak a cotton pad with this just to make sure I've got off all of the cleanser. And rose water, of course, as everybody knows is really hydrating and cooling. I push that [in] rather than wiping. Rose water is so calming and it smells incredible."

5. Lip Balm:

Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm Strawberry

Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm Strawberry

Lanolips 101 Ointment Multi-Balm Strawberry: "I apply a little to my lips while I apply the rest of my skincare. This is not tinted; this is actually strawberry flavour."

6. Exfoliator:

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel

Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Universal Daily Peel: "I'm a big fan of Dr. Dennis Gross peel pads when travelling. They are gentle but strong enough that you can use them every day and see a difference. They're great for deep cleaning and removing any impurities or dirt off your skin."

7. Serums:

iS Clinical Super Serum Advance Plus

iS Clinical Super Serum Advance+

iS Clinical Super Serum Advance+: "This is their advanced Super Serum and it is packed full of vitamin C. Vitamin C is obviously great for brightening. I do half a dozen drops."

iS Clinical Active Serum

iS Clinical Active Serum

iS Clinical Active Serum: "I'm very loyal to iS Clinical, but there is one product in particular that I would recommend to everyone, and that's the Active Serum. It's a bit of an investment product, but trust me, it changed my skin. It clears, brightens, and just gives my face that lift it needs."

8. Acne Treatment:

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Dual Action Acne Treatment

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Dual Action Acne Treatment

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Dual Action Acne Treatment: "If I get a spot, people say, 'It doesn't matter—you can get it airbrushed at work.' That's true, but I also want to look fresh when I'm with my mum, or I'm having a romantic night in. That's why I'm diligent with my skincare."

9. Retinol:

Resurface by Shani Darden Retinol Reform

Resurface by Shani Darden Retinol Reform: "And then I also use a bit of my facialist Shani Darden's Resurface retinol cream for fine lines, pores, acne and scars. [It] is my favourite product of all time. It leaves skin flawless. It's a product everybody should have."

10. Eye Cream:

bareMinerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Eye Gel Cream

bareMinerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Eye Gel Cream

bareMinerals Skinlongevity Vital Power Eye Gel Cream: "I'm absolutely obsessed with bareMinerals Skinlongevity Eye Cream. I became the face of bareMinerals in the summer last year and they're one of my favourite natural brands because really they're like the OG of clean beauty. I love this eye cream because it's really soft and gentle and very, very cooling. I like to use my ring finger. This is the most gentle of your fingers."

11. Face Mist:

Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence

Tata Harper Hydrating Floral Essence: "Then I like to finish it off with this product from Tata Harper. It's obviously really hydrating, very cooling, it smells incredible and it just sets everything and makes you look really dewy and luminous to walk around the house in."

Face Masks:

Control Corrective Sulfur Calming Mask

Control Corrective Sulfur Calming Mask: "There is one mask I really like; it's Control Corrective's Sulfur Calming Mask. It's a drying mask, good for getting rid of any impurities."

Light Therapy:

LightStim for Wrinkles LED Light Therapy Device

LightStim for Wrinkles LED Light Therapy Device

LightStim for Wrinkles LED Light Therapy Device: "There's a thing called the LightStim, which I'm obsessed with at the moment. It's at my dermatologist, Dr. Lancer's office, and it is basically a LED light, which is so rejuvenating for the skin. It's great for collagen and bringing back all the nutrients that you need in your face. I've found it to be a really good thing."

Facials:

Shani Darden: "[Shani is my] true skin saviour. She has a no-nonsense attitude. You are in and out in an hour, and you are glowing!"

Rosie’s Diet, Exercise and Lifestyle

Naturopathic Doctor:

Nigma Talib, ND: "Right now I'm on Nigma's plan, which is: no dairy, no gluten, no sugar and no alcohol! And it's been really tough, it is, [but] it's been transformative for me. Once you change some things in your diet and you remove certain things you're going to see a difference in your skin and a difference in your well-being."

Water:

"I drink so much water you wouldn't believe and find that it has so many benefits, not only for my skin but for general well-being, dealing with jet-lag and weight loss. Water is the key to so much. I believe many of the issues we have with our bodies are down to dehydration."

Exercise:

Body By Simone and Ballet Bodies: "Beauty for me is about a good workout routine. I'm a fitness fanatic. It's where everything starts for me. [Body By Simone] is not for the faint of heart! I love it—the music is blasting; it's kind of my new nightclubbing."

Personal Trainers:

Justin Gelband and Toby Huntington-Whiteley: "The majority of [Justin's] clients are Victoria's Secret Angels, so he's obviously doing something right. When I'm in London, I train with my brother, who is a personal trainer. I am flying all of the time and always jet-lagged, so it's important that my body is strong and healthy."

Massage:

"I see massage as part of my exercise routine. I work out quite aggressively, and it's really important for me to have that time for my body as well."
