With the Met Gala over for another year, we return to the beauty looks you'd actually wear in real life—and I have plenty to show you here!

Pinks continue to dominate celebrity eyelids, whether as an undertone to brown and burgundy (as seen on Salma Hayek and Cara Delevingne), or in their full glory (worn by Thandie Newton and Mary Elizabeth Winstead).

I'm also obsessed with Halston Sage's blurred lip stain and Bella Heathcote's fluffy lob.

Here are the latest, most inspiring hair and makeup looks:

Thandie Newton

What I like: Thandie's bright but sheer pink eyeshadow, which dips down at her inner corners. It's unexpected and SO gorgeous with her flawless, warm-toned skin. The black liner and lashes "ground" the colour, while her brows are newly bleached (and weirdly, I don't mind). She did all this makeup herself, by the way! Also lovely is the long, straight hair. What I'd change: Nothing.

Salma Hayek

What I like: Salma's colour-blocking combo—a cool pink lipstick with warm, pinky-brown eyeshadow. She just has mascara on the upper lashes, so it's quite a simple makeup, but so creative and sophisticated. Loose waves and full brows keep her looking effortless, not contrived. How is she 50 years old??? What I'd change: Nothing.

Halston Sage

What I like: Halston's pink-stained lips with super-soft, blurry edges. This is the only way I want to wear lip colour right now! The effect is echoed on her cheeks, which look like they're flushing from within. I also like the little touch of highlighter underneath (instead of beside) the tear ducts. What I'd change: The lashes are a tad heavy (and clumpy?), but I've seen much worse.

Cara Delevingne

What I like: Cara's textured silver bob and burgundy eyeshadow. This is from before she shaved it all off, and I have to say, I'll miss this look! It's probably the best example of the silver/grey hair trend I've seen. Her skin is glowing, and the dark brows add just the right amount of drama. What I'd change: Nothing.

Daisy Lowe

What I like: Daisy's bold, matte orange-red lipstick and choppy long bangs. If you look more closely, you'll also appreciate the definition of her lower lashes, and the curve of black liner along the top ones. She always nails that perfectly-imperfect vibe. What I'd change: Nothing.

Mary Elizabeth Winstead

What I like: Mary's matching rosy cheeks and lids, paired with a warm red lipstick. I'm feeling the whole Bohemian vibe here, with the appliqués, dangly earrings and hair tucked behind her ears. What I'd change: I love a natural brow, but I think her tails could be a touch tidier.

Amber Heard

What I like: Amber's gold smoky eyes with glossy lips and dewy skin. The strong eyes and lips remind me of '80s glamour, especially with the big, off-the-face hairstyle. But I'm glad she paired this with the shirt and bow tie—a dress would've been too aggressively sexy. What I'd change: I like a darker, warmer blonde for her, like the colour she had here.

Tatiana Maslany

What I like: Tatiana's shimmery, smoked-out charcoal shadow. We haven't seen a lot of this traditional smoky eye lately, so it's a nice change of pace, especially with such pretty, fresh skin and low-key lips. Notice the soft brows, which she wisely left alone. I also like the mass of curls pinned to one side. What I'd change: Nothing.

Bella Heathcote

What I like: Bella's fluffy blonde lob. The texture is soft and pretty, and the blonde is such a great, natural-looking shade on her (not too light!). Her makeup is also understated—no crazy lashes or brows, just smudgy liner, pink blush and matching lipstick. What I'd change: Nothing.

Carla Gugino

What I like: Carla's sweet bangs and high ponytail. The hair adds a playful contrast to the formality of her suit! I also like the black liner all the way around her green eyes, smudged and with a dab of silver at the inner corners to makes it less harsh. Her skin doesn't look loaded with foundation, and I'm glad she kept her lips sheer and shiny. What I'd change: Nothing.

Rosamund Pike

What I like: Rosamund's textured hair and no-makeup makeup. (I have always enjoyed a bare face on her, going way back to 2013!) The rosy cheeks and sheer berry hue of the gloss dress this up a little, along with groomed brows and lashes. What I'd change: Nothing.

Phoebe Tonkin

What I like: Phoebe's healthy, sun-kissed skin. Besides looking like she's not wearing any foundation (in a good way), the makeup is really subtle. When you're this striking, all you need are long lashes, a tinted lip balm and some bronzer. What I'd change: Nothing, although I think she would look great with less "perfect" brows.

Kate Hudson

What I like: Kate's icy, metallic shadow. It looks like there are two colours going on; a silvery baby blue on the top lid, and a deeper blue along the lower lash line. I appreciate that she went with chunky lashes—falsies would've easily looked tacky. It's nice to see her long hair back! What I'd change: I feel like her ends could be healthier and not so piecey, but I'm guessing these are extensions.

Bianca Balti

What I like: Bianca's chiseled bone structure, OMG! We can't even detect her lashes, and her blue eyes are still popping like crazy. She has the most perfect brows I've ever seen, and her centre-parted straight hair looks healthy and shiny. What I'd change: Nothing. (Obviously!)

Jennifer Aniston

What I like: Jennifer's full brows and fringe of black lashes. She always stays true to her "girl next door" aesthetic, so the rest is just glowy bronzed skin and beachy hair. Nice to see that she hasn't injected away her lines and lips. What I'd change: Nothing.
