The annual Teen Choice Awards, or TCAs, always bring a fresh dose of fun to round out the summer! This year, it was all about Rita Ora's Barbie vibes, Lucy Hale's berry eyeshadow and Zendaya's '70s curls.

These were the best beauty moments of the night:

Rita Ora

What I like: Believe it or not, Rita's yellow highlights! Pink and yellow is the beauty combination that seems so wrong, yet looks so right. I love her face-framing updo, creamy fuchsia lipstick, perfected skin and long lashes. The dress is important, too—it's just so unapologetically Barbie! What I'd change: Nothing.

Lucy Hale

What I like: Lucy's 360-degree application of berry shadow (actually a lipstick). It looks like these pinky tones are here to stay! Her dewy skin, thick brows and slicked-back bob balance out the bold eyes out beautifully. Let's take one more moment to appreciate her skin... it's insanely flawless! What I'd change: Nothing.

Lucy is wearing: Foundation • Lipstick in Supurb Wine (as eyeshadow) • Blush

Zendaya

What I like: Zendaya's curls in a rounded shape—with bangs! I'm so happy this hairstyle is making a comeback. We can't see much of her lids in this shot, but they're a rusty shade that looks interesting with the pinky coral lipstick. She DIY'd this makeup and I think she's getting better at it (i.e. showing more restraint!). What I'd change: Nothing.

Zendaya is wearing: Foundation in Classic TanEyeshadow in GoldensEyeliner in Black Onyx • Mascara in Very BlackBrow powder in Rich Brown • Lip liner in Clear • Lipstick in Gel-Ful

Vanessa Hudgens

What I like: Vanessa's iridescent lavender eyeshadow and lip gloss. The frosted lip finish is very '80s, but somehow looks modern with the clean updo and matching outfit. I think even the false lashes work here. Seeing her naturally thinner upper lip makes me happy—injections there have become THAT mainstream. (Sad!) What I'd change: Nothing.

Paris Jackson

What I like: Truth be told, Paris could wear ANY shadow colour and her eyes would still be mesmerizing. But this burnt orange one is especially effective at bringing out her light baby blues. I like that she framed them with natural black lashes and soft, un-tweezed brows. What I'd change: I'm not crazy about her new brunette hair (this was her as a blonde), nor the brown lipstick.

Yara Shahidi

What I like: Yara's oversized top knot (can we even call that a knot?) and lovely glowy skin. More and more these days, we're seeing stars shun powder and tweezers for a more natural look. Besides some peach blush, the one makeup adornment is a skinny cat-eye flick. What I'd change: Nothing.

Yara is wearing: Lip gloss in Caramel and Decadent

Zara Larsson

What I like: Zara's super-glamorous smoky eyes. No, they're not exactly "on trend," but they look absolutely amazing with her eye and skin colours. Her brows are great too, and I like that her foundation is sheer enough to show a few faint freckles on her nose. What I'd change: Okay, her false lashes are way too over-the-top! And that's some aggressive lip-overlining. It would be better to balance the eyes with more bare/casual elements everywhere else.

Katherine McNamara

What I like: Katherine's got the right idea with her makeup—she's playing up her lashes and upper lash lines, but kept her lips subtle with a pink stain. How did I not notice her lovely skin and brows before? What I'd change: The hairband and bouffant waves are dated, in my opinion. With the cat eyes, it's just too much. I'm still campaigning for her to transition to a softer strawberry blonde (think: Amy Adams).

Aisha Dee

What I like: Aisha's flat-topped, voluminous-bottomed hairstyle is one of my favourites from way back. Anyone remember Gwen Stefani rocking a similar half-up style in 2011? I think this one is even better! The hot pink lips and illuminated eyes continue the fun. What I'd change: I wish she'd skipped the false lashes, along with the horizontal lines under her brows.

Peyton List

What I like: Peyton's shimmering copper eyeshadow, with the colour extending right up to the brows. It's an unexpected choice with her red dress and beach-textured hair—but I like it! Wisely, she kept her lips and cheeks nude. What I'd change: There's an ashy cast to her foundation, and her hair colour isn't the healthiest; the regrowth emphasizes its brassiness.

Emeraude Toubia

What I like: Emeraude's glossy, centre-parted straight hair. I can never resist a good blunt cut! With her already striking features, the metallic copper liner and fluffy lashes are all she needs. I like that her cheeks and lips are rosy. This might be the first time I've ever seen someone pull off a faux shadow under the bottom lip. What I'd change: Nothing.

Katherine Langford

What I like: Katherine's healthy skin and understated makeup. She skipped heavy eye makeup, and instead let her berry lipstick do the talking. Her long, centre-parted hair has a great bend in it. What I'd change: She has amazing hair, but I think an updo would've been better with this neckline.

Isabela Moner

What I like: Isabela looks adorable in short hair. I don't mind these spiky lashes, since they taper well, and the gold highlights at the inner corners of her eyes are a cool touch. What I'd change: I'm not into the kiss curls, and the makeup's a little heavy. Lightening up the brows and the strobing would go a long way.

Madelaine Petsch

What I like: Madelaine has simply gorgeous hair (apparently she's a natural redhead). Her skin looks nice, too. What I'd change: Holy LIP FILLER. Is this really a beauty goal right now? Also opposed to the incredibly heavy pair of false lashes. I'm not sure what's going on with the brows... did she dye them?

Bella Thorne

What I like: If Bella's goal for the TCAs was to be memorable, then she certainly succeeded with that! I think I would've loved this glitter get-up when I was 5. What I'd change: So this is not meant to be natural, and I'm okay with that. But I do wish her skin finish was more natural; the foundation is a shade or two lighter and greyer!

Who had your favourite (and least favourite) beauty look on this red carpet?
