What I like: Tessa's matte coral-red lips, flawless skin and sleek hair. But this isn't as conservative as it seems—she's actually wearing a long braid at the back! I also love the shimmery taupe shadow all over her lids and the baby cat eyes. What I'd change: Nothing.

Dakota Johnson

What I like: Dakota's short, choppy bangs (see how they're just skimming the tops of her brows, instead of the bottom edges?). A red lip would've been too predictable with the red dress, so I'm glad she went for this glossy rose with matching sheer shadow. What I'd change: Nothing.

Amber Heard

What I like: Amber's creamy deep red lipstick and soft updo with a little side bang in the front. Also—how plump and dewy does her skin look? Normally I don't love false lashes, but I think they work since the rest of the eye makeup is subtle. What I'd change: Nothing.

Olivia Munn

What I like: Olivia's glittery pink eyeshadow, all the way up to her brows, with a glossy red lipstick. It sounds like way too much, but it looks surprisingly great with her colouring and the bright dress. Her long waves are gorgeous, too. What I'd change: Nothing.

Diane Kruger

What I like: Diane's bold copper eyes and wavy bob in a deep side part. Remember how she always used to do her own makeup? Not anymore—that's why we're seeing this creative eyeshadow colour and application (it was done by Kate Lee). What I'd change: Her skin seems a little dull and powdery.

Diane is wearing: Eyeshadow in Cuivre Lamé • Eyeliner in Electric Brown

Margot Robbie

What I like: Margot's flushed cheeks and blotted raspberry lipstick. Her cheeks are actually the focus of this look, which isn't something you see very often. With natural lashes and almost bare lids, she's giving us major English rose vibes. What I'd change: Nothing.

Natalie Portman

What I like: Natalie's straight, shiny hair and bright red lipstick. Notice how her eyes are tightlined in black, and then framed by shimmery brown shadow and a thick fringe of lashes. Often, black with red can be a little harsh, but this is very nicely balanced. What I'd change: Her false lashes could be more tapered (not so long in the centre).

Charli XCX

What I like: Charli's fresh skin, smoky eyes and dip-dyed long bob with bangs. I know this hair colour trend has been done to death, but hers just might be my favourite version of it. She really pulls off the messy, sooty eye makeup. What I'd change: Nothing.

Keira Knightley

What I like: Keira's smoky eyes, full brows and soft waves. Her eye makeup is almost the same as the last time we saw her, but for this look, she paired it with pink instead of peach on her lips and cheeks, with a matte texture. What I'd change: Nothing. (But did she go overboard on cheek fillers?)

Halle Berry

What I like: Halle's updo with soft bangs and face-framing pieces. (I always say this, but HOW is this woman 52 years old?!) She kept to her usual neutral makeup, enhancing her lips with a creamy mauve. What I'd change: The overlining is a bit too obvious.

Emma Stone

What I like: Emma's classic waves, red lipstick and subtle shading close to the lash lines. It's not as daring as her usual makeup choices, but still super adorable. What I'd change: Nothing. (I don't mind the overlined lips in red.)

Emily Blunt

What I like: Emily's copper shadow, all the way around her eyes, paired with a rose lipstick. Makes it more interesting to mix warm and cool tones, no? I like the darker, glossy brows as well. What I'd change: I'm just not a fan of the blonde—it washes her out.

Emily is wearing: Eye mask • Moisturizer • Foundation in Ivory and Porcelain • Concealer • Blush in Happy • Blush in Emotion • Eyeshadow in StarfishMascaraBrow gel in Dark • Lipstick in Honeypot

Lily Collins

Lily Collins, Governors Awards, 2018

What I like: Lily's sleek, double-braided updo and dramatic eyes. It's all about the super-long lashes (on the top AND bottom!), grey smoky shadow and big, bushy brows. Her blush is peachy, while her lip colour is pink. What I'd change: I feel like the powder shade is slightly off and making her skin a tad dull.

Amanda Seyfried

What I like: Amanda's perfect, glowing skin—it doesn't even look like she's wearing foundation! The hairstyle is pretty unforgiving, but she looks great in juicy bright red lipstick, black mascara, brushed-up brows and a hint of warm shadow. What I'd change: Nothing.

Rachel Weisz

What I like: Rachel's centre-parted low pony with glowing skin and simple makeup. I really like the thick black liner along her upper lashes, and the sheer, balmy lip finish. What I'd change: Her lip filler's a little wonky in the top lip.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley

What I like: Rosie's tucked-in hair and sculpted natural makeup. (Crazy how she looks straight out of a magazine ad even in a candid pic!) The brown shadow emphasizes her crease, with winged liner along the top lash lines only, soft lashes, and straight, feathery brows. What I'd change: Nothing.

Felicity Jones

Felicity Jones, Governors Awards, 2018

What I like: Felicity's straight hair, silver eyeshadow and "your lips, only better" lip colour. What I'd change: Her skin seems dehydrated and the brow pencil (on the tails) is a bit too warm.

Georgia May Jagger

What I like: Georgia's bright pink hair (it actually looks super healthy!). The colour is also flattering to her skin tone, so all she needs is the dramatic black winged liner, no blush. I'm obsessed with her lips! What I'd change: Nothing.

Sandra Bullock

What I like: Sandra's new straight, shiny bob (this is what her hair looked like a few months ago). I love the matchy-matchy red lipstick and red dress, and her shimmery eye makeup. What I'd change: Nothing.

Amy Adams

Amy Adams, Governors Awards, 2018

What I like: Amy's soft "S" waves and glowy makeup. I'm enjoying the stronger brows on her, and the metallic rose gold shadow makes her eyes shine. The lip and cheek colours are perfect with her hair. What I'd change: Nothing.

Saoirse Ronan

What I like: Saoirse's sparkly, sheer white eyeshadow—it brings so much light to her eye area. Her brows look amazing, and the tinted lip balm is super pretty. What I'd change: Her lashes are clumping together.

Saoirse is wearing: Highlighter • Highlighter • Eyeliner in Xtreme BlackEyeshadow in Rose GoldAstral Luna Gold and Entrapment • Lip liner in Buff • Tinted lip balm in Passion Flower
