Blackberry lipstick, long waves and pink eyeshadow—these were some of the stand-out beauty looks at this year's Critics' Choice Awards!
Take a look at the best skin, hair and makeup of the night:
Wow! After her princess look at the Globes, Emmy went in the opposite direction here—with a dramatic, Film Noir-inspired Bordeaux lip to match her velvet dress. It's so simple yet so unexpected and chic. I love the baby cat eyes, too!

Laura showed off her glorious mane of hair, styled in long, touchable waves. The makeup is equally stunning. She really suits this caramel lipstick shade, and I like that the eye makeup isn't heavy.
Mandy always has fun with her makeup, and this look was no exception. Her white dress was the perfect canvas for matchy-matchy pink eyeshadow and lipstick. The dangling earrings and off-the-face hairstyle bring it all together.
Olivia went with one of her go-to makeup looks—bold red lips and fluffy lashes. But she mixed things up with a messy half-up hairstyle, which adds edge to the polka-dot dress.
Oh dear, we're only two awards shows into 2019 and I'm already tiring of Lady Gaga's bleached hair and retro styling. The brows and lashes are also too much, but she does have beautiful skin. And this is a pretty shade of lipstick.
I'm not sure how I feel about Elizabeth's new bangs—you? (Here's what her hair looked like before.) But they are doing amazing things for her cheekbones! I always appreciate her low-key red carpet style, this time featuring creamy red lips and natural lashes.
As a general rule, I don't like bottom false lashes, but Lucy's are the exception! They're so soft and realistic-looking, and add a doll-like effect to this understated makeup. I also love the texture of her brows, and the little braid in the updo.
Bold gold eyeshadow and black winged liner might be my new favourite eye makeup combination. With a clean, sleek updo, Amandla looks young and fun (she is only 20, after all).
While I like the pink eyeshadow and full, dark brows, Emily looks a bit washed out with the peach lipstick and flat blonde hair. Overall, this styling just seems too "safe" for an actress of her caliber.
I love that Awkwafina wore her hair long and loose to contrast with this very dressy dress. The eyeshadow is the same copper shade, and while it looks super delicate here, it's actually quite bold in other photos. So I think it made perfect sense not to do a lip!
I love Kiki's glow (it seems like it's concentrated in the centre of her face), and I love her half-up hair adorned with glittery stars. However, I think this would look fresher with more natural lashes and less shadow and eyeliner.
The earrings are the best part of this look, wouldn't you agree? I think I would've given Amy a side part instead of down the centre, which is a little severe. That being said, I think the main problem here is the dress, which kind of ages her.
Constance's bangs and long hair are perfect! (They're such an improvement over the "prom" style from the Globes.) But I think she could refine the makeup, which is a tad heavy. And that dab of gold seems out of place.

Whoa, did America always have these amazing curls? Her hair and skin just look amazingly healthy—so much so that she only needs a slick of lip gloss, a little blush and mascara. She's glowing!
This is a lot! Chrissy went overboard on the spray tan and lip injections, I think. (See her "before" over here.) I think the makeup looks a lot better from afar Up close, you can see the drawn-on eyebrows, false lashes and heavy contouring.
I much prefer this look on Sandra compared to what she wore to the Golden Globes! (That hairstyle aged her, in my opinion.) Yes, she could use a bang trim here, but the waves are playful, and the makeup has a light touch. I think she looks 10 years younger than last week!
Finally, something a little more interesting from Charlize! She's so statuesque, she can carry off this swooping, asymmetrical hairstyle. I'm just not sure about the copper eyeshadow and lipstick; I feel like cooler tones suit her colouring better. And the brows are very intense.
