If you follow Victoria Beckham on Instagram, then you've probably noticed that she LOVES talking about skincare—and that her complexion is absolutely glowing.
But that wasn't always the case. Back in the '00s, the former Spice Girl was cruelly nicknamed "Spotty Spice" by the British press because of her adult acne and acne scars.
"I used to have quite bad skin when I was younger," Victoria, now 45, told Into The Gloss. "I was constantly covering up spots and things like that. Luckily, I don't have to worry too much about that anymore. The older I get, the more my skin settles down."
She credits Dr. Harold Lancer, an L.A.-based dermatologist, for turning her skin around. Although she hasn't revealed exactly which procedures he used to transform her skin texture, she has been candid about her day-to-day routine.
It involves a lot of luxury skincare, natch, plus a strict diet and supplement program and frequent visits to her favourite facialists. She has even launched her own line—Victoria Beckham Beauty—which will soon include the skincare essentials "that I feel I need in my own life."

Victoria’s Morning Skincare Routine
CosMedix Purity Solution Nourishing Deep Cleansing Oil: "[Skin therapist] Melanie Grant suggested I use CosMedix to cleanse every morning and night... and I'm loving it!"
Dr. Barbara Sturm Enzyme Cleanser: "What I like about this is that it's a fine grain cleansing powder and it smells super nice. It's really nice on the skin."
Lancer The Method: Polish: "When I wash my face in the shower, I use the Lancer Polish. It's fantastic—it's quite grainy and abrasive. I can feel my face tingling afterwards. It's the best scrub I've found because it really stimulates the skin."
Sarah Chapman Skinesis Stem Cell Collagen Activator: "The serum comes in these little vials with the dropper separately. Once you're ready to use it, you break the seal and shake it to activate. I make sure to put it on my neck and around my eyes as well… this makes my skin feel so nice."
Biologique Recherche Oligo-Proteines Marines Sérum Authentique: "[It's] for radiance and antioxidant protection. It is super lightweight and super clean!"
Biologique Recherche Splenodermine Sérum Authentique: "This is good!"
iS Clinical Pro-Heal Serum Advance+: "[I apply] this serum before my Augustinus Bader moisturizer."
La Mer The Moisturizing Soft Lotion: "After I'm polished and cleansed, I'll use this. It's just a very easy, light moisturizer. My foundation goes on really well on top of this."
Augustinus Bader The Cream: "Thank you Melanie Grant for introducing me to [it]. [I use it] after cleansing both day and night."
This Works In Transit Camera Close-Up: "It's a mask, a moisturizer, and a primer all in one."
5. Eye Creams:
CosMedix Elite Eye Doctor High Potency Eye Treatment: "This is beyond!!!"
Lancer Legacy Eye Treatment Duo: "A super potent roll-on elixir!"
Sarah Chapman Skinesis Skin Insurance SPF 30: "On a day when I'm hanging around the house with the kids, I just like to use Sarah Chapman Skin Insurance SPF 30—it's basically a tinted moisturizer but with sunscreen, which is obviously really important. And it's got great coverage for lots of different skin colours."
7. Face Mists:
Biologique Recherche L'Eauxygenante: "Then I spritz a little of this on top of my makeup. It gives brightness to your complexion and improves the lasting effect of your makeup."
Sun Potion Solar Rose Water: "Melanie Grant sent me this... and she tells me that I should spray it throughout the day on makeup. But also you can put it underneath makeup. It's really refreshing. It comes out quite quick. I do look like I've been in the shower, but it smells really, really nice."
Sarah Chapman Skinesis Liquid Facial D-stress: "The perfect product to spray over makeup to rehydrate throughout the day!"
Caudalie Beauty Elixir: "Caudalie gives you a glowing complexion. Use it on top of your makeup."
Victoria’s Nighttime Skincare Routine
1. Makeup Remover:
Bioderma Sensibio H2O Make-Up Removing Wipes: "The only face wipes that actually take off all my makeup are the Bioderma ones. I always use a cleanser after, but these wipes really get everything off."
CosMedix Purity Solution Nourishing Deep Cleansing Oil: "I use the Purity Solution, which is quite oily, to take makeup off."
CosMedix Purity Clean Exfoliating Cleanser: "And then I use this one, which gets nice and foamy. It's quite minty actually, and feels really nice on the skin as a final cleanse after the oil."
Sarah Chapman Skinesis Ultimate Cleanse: "I have a few different cleansers because I think it's important to change up what you use so your skin doesn't get too used to it. At the moment, I'm using Sarah Chapman's Skinesis Ultimate Cleanse."
Biologique Recherche Lotion P50: "It really does give your face a cleanse."
4. Lash Treatment:
Latisse: "I use [it] on my brows as well as my lashes... it's a prescription product that stimulates hair growth. I will use it along bottom part of my lashes and the top—you have to make sure you don't get it in your eye because you can get brown spots that way. I'll use a generous amount on my eyebrows as well, and my brows have completely grown back. I have gone through phases where I've stopped using it, and I noticed a big difference. [Brow expert] Anastasia Soare actually recommended it to me."
CosMedix Elite Serum 24 Rapid Renewal Complex: "Followed by CosMedix Serum 24 after cleansing at night."
Augustinus Bader The Cream: "This is AMAZING!!"
7. Eye Creams:
CosMedix Elite Eye Doctor High Potency Eye Treatment: "[I use it] after cleansing both day and night."
Lancer Legacy Eye Treatment Duo: "For day and night."
Victoria’s Skincare Treatments
Lancer Caviar Lime Acid Peel: "It's got glycolic and various different acids in it. You put it on and you can tell it's very active right away. You can really feel it—I only keep it on for 15 minutes."
Chanel Le Lift Flash Eye Revitalizer: "They feel really amazing! Use the little roller then apply the jazzy pads."
Dr. Barbara Sturm Face Mask: "After sleeping in [this] mask—which soaks in so it doesn't look funny or feel sticky—my skin feels amazing! Super hydrated and clear. And very soft!"
Lancer Radiance Awakening Mask Intense: "After a full on week my skin needs an intense mask."
This Works No Wrinkles Time Dose Mask: "I actually just found a really good face mask by a company called This Works."
Manuka honey mask: "I learned this in L.A.: you mix manuka honey with organic oatmeal and egg white. Mix it all together and put it on your face for a few minutes, and it's amazing. But it's got to be manuka honey, not regular honey. And it's got to be organic oatmeal."
Sarah Chapman Skinesis 3D Moisture Infusion: "I love it—my skin really does eat this stuff up, so I do it a few times a week. It's one of those things where you see an immediate difference right after you use it. The actual mask comes wrapped in gauze, which I use to mask my neck, too."
Jade roller: "Afterwards, I like to use a jade roller to really contour [the Sarah Chapman mask] into my face."
Sarah Chapman: "The best facial I've ever had was by Sarah Chapman."
Melanie Grant: "In Australia I had the most AMAZING facial with Melanie Grant."

Victoria’s Diet, Exercise and Lifestyle
"I never cook. I am very, very disciplined in the way that I work out, in what I eat. That's how I'm happiest. I expect a lot from my body—I'm 44, I've got four kids, I work a lot, I travel. For me to do all that, I have to eat healthily and work out."
"I eat lots of good fats, in avocados, nuts, seeds, salmon…. I used to have really problematic skin and [Dr. Lancer] said to me, 'You have to eat salmon every single day.' I said, 'Really, every day?' And he said, 'Yes; breakfast, lunch or dinner, you have to eat it every single day.'"
Amelia Freer: "I've also started seeing nutritionist Amelia Freer. I've learned so much about food; you've got to eat the right things, eat the right healthy fats."
Fish oil: "So good for the skin."
Skinade Collagen Drink: "I make sure I take [it] every day. It comes in these handy little travel packets."
"[I do] a mix of uphill fast walking, jogging, running [on the treadmill]. That's the only time I watch TV... so I look forward to that. It takes 45 minutes. Then I work out with a trainer—30 minutes legs, 30 minutes arms, toning and conditioning, then loads of planks and that kind of thing for my core. I work out every day when I'm at home. [It's] a really positive thing for me. It's part of who I am now, and I really enjoy it."
"Lack of sleep does not agree with my skin."
