Q: I think I look best as a blonde, but I'm having trouble knowing what tone of blonde would look good on me. I have very pale skin and my hair is very thick, straight and hard to work with. It is somewhat dry and I am currently working on getting it back to its original strength.

Teya thinks blonde hair suits her best.

I would like to also know what type of bangs would look good on me. I would appreciate your help! — Teya

Teya isn't sure what tone of blonde would suit her pale skin.

A: Teya, I agree that blonde is a great colour for you—and fortunately for you, most colours and tones would suit you.

Here are a couple of shades that I would love to see on you.

Keeping some of your yellow blonde highlights with some darker warm tones—I think you would rock this.

Scarlett Johansson at the 2009 launch of 'Break Up.'

Then I am digging this dark rooty look with a more beige tone…

Beige-blonde hair colour with darker roots.

These colours should be less damaging and help with the health of your hair, imparting more shine and potential growth in length (from being less stressed from over-processing).

Then there is the Ralph Lauren blonde that you could totally do…

Doutzen Kroes at the 2013 Cannes premiere of 'Jimmy P.'

This is a side bang and a longer length with a bit more curl…

Indiana Evans' side bangs.

This narrow bang would suit your face and your straight hair.

Mischa Barton's narrow bang at the 2006 Night of Stars event.

This would be pretty and edgy with your blonde… short nerdy bangs can be sexy when done deliberately.

Krysten Ritter's baby bangs at the 2012 ELLE Women in Hollywood Awards.

I would try on all of the bangs in the sequence of the photos, starting with the longest to the shortest. You are so pretty, you could do them all…
