Long before she became Mrs. Justin Bieber, Hailey Baldwin was serving up some of the best beauty looks on the red carpet. I can still remember spotting her back in 2015, when both her modelling career and her Instagram following were just getting started.
You know why she stood out to me, even when I had no idea who she was?
It was her SKIN. Radiant, poreless, and like she'd never had a pimple in her life. Her complexion was—and still is—utterly flawless!
"My mom and dad have really nice skin, so I do think genetics played a big part," the 24-year-old (who now goes by her married name, Hailey Bieber) revealed to Women's Health.
But she also follows a dedicated skincare routine—so perhaps there's a glimmer of hope that we, too, can get some of this glow. "You can never be too young to care about your skin," she told Elle.
A self-described "skincare product hoarder," Hailey relies on an array of luxury hydrators, select drugstore favourites and a customized blood cream (yes, you read that right) to keep her skin in tip-top shape. Also in her schedule: Vampire facials (which also involve blood) and regular trips to her trusted dermatologist.

Hailey’s Morning Skincare Routine
"I should wash my face in the morning, but I usually don't."
2. Vitamin C:
SkinCeuticals C E Ferulic: "This serum is a favourite of mine."
SkinMedica HA5 Rejuvenating Hydrator: "Just recently started this one, it's helped keep my skin from getting chapped in the cold."
Dr. Barbara Sturm Glow Drops: "I start with these Glow Drops by Dr. Barbara Sturm. I came across her stuff through a makeup artist during Paris Fashion Week. Essentially they make you glowy, but they also give you this really nice natural lift."
Dr. Barbara Sturm Calming Serum: "I love the Calming Serum, it's really good. I get really red because my skin gets really dry, especially when it's allergy season."
Augustinus Bader The Rich Cream: "My everyday. This is my third bottle! I'm really big on moisture. I think a lot of people think moisture breaks them out, but it's a very important part of your skincare routine."
Dr. Barbara Sturm Face Cream: "I use all of Barbara Sturm's products. Her masks, her Face Cream, her Glow Serum—they are amazing, and she is also the nicest human being."
5. Face Oil:
Vintner's Daughter Active Botanical Serum: "I tend to love face and body oils but worry about them clogging my pores. So far this one has been my favourite and not felt too heavy."
EltaMD UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46: "Can't lie I don't always wear SPF but when I do this is the only one that doesn't make my skin breakout. I'm super sensitive to sunblock."
bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Hydrating Foundation Stick SPF 25: "I think that less is more when it comes to makeup: I enjoy having a bare-looking face rather than a full, done-up look. I know everybody's different and some people enjoy a full face of makeup, but I'm just so impatient and I don't like spending a lot of time on myself every day. When I do decide to put on a real look, I tap bareMinerals' foundation stick on areas where I need it; it really lets my skin breathe, it's not super heavy, and it's easy to blend."
bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream SPF 30: "It has SPF in it; it's super-light. I don't like to do anything heavy for every day because I have makeup being put on my face all the time. I have no problem showing my bare skin, and a lot of the time when I'm photographed, or when you see photos by paparazzi, I'm not wearing any makeup. But if I'm not completely bare faced, I like products that are good for my skin."
Tom Ford Concealing Pen: "I'm using this Tom Ford concealer. I wear as minimal makeup as I can on my days off, because I'm always getting harsh, heavy makeup put on my skin. If I'm doing my everyday makeup, I always use the BarePro Glow Highlighters and maybe a little concealer."
Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate: "Next I will go into my bronzing, because obviously with looking glowy, being tan... comes with that. So I'm using this Tom Ford palette. I don't just like to put bronzer in my cheekbones; I put it on my actual cheeks, too, because I think it makes you look more tan."
bareMinerals BarePro Glow Highlighter: "I'm also big on highlighter. I go for a liquid highlighter, like the bareMinerals BarePro Glow Highlighter, more than a powder. My favourite shades of the highlighter are Whimsy and Joy—they're like highlighter and blush all in one. It's like you're doing two things at the same time. So if I'm going to get something on my face before I leave the house, or I'm in the car last-minute, it's one of those."
Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer: "I like this Giorgio Armani Fluid Sheer. I think when you're doing a sun-kissed, glowy type of thing, when you bring it across your nose, it kind of makes it actually look like you got caught in the sun."
Laura Mercier Face Illuminator Highlighting Powder: "I always add a powder highlight at the very end because I think it helps give you that extra glow. I use Laura Mercier."
Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Compact: "I use this Armani pressed face powder and I just do it right in the areas where I get a little bit oily."
Supergoop! Invincible Setting Powder SPF 45: "You have to protect your face. So, I'm going to put a little bit of SPF setting powder. Protect your skin; it's very important."
12. Tinted Lip Balms:
Sisley Phyto-Lip Twist: "The last thing that I do is always a bit of lip colour. So I'm going to use this Sisley stick. I usually just kind of tap it on."
Burt's Bees Tinted Lip Balm: "If I'm going out for the day, I like stains, like a lip balm that's tinted for a little bit of colour. Burt's Bees makes good tinted lip balms. They're super conditioning, and the shades aren't too intense."
Hailey’s Nighttime Skincare Routine
1. Makeup Removers:
Drunk Elephant Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser: "Been loving this for makeup removal."
Coconut oil: "There are some girls that I know who sleep with their freaking makeup on and their skin is clear. That is not a thing for me. I use coconut oil to take off my makeup. It cuts through the mascara and all the makeup."
Neutrogena Makeup Remover Cleansing Towelettes: "I'm all about the Neutrogena makeup wipes—they're always with me. I've been using them since I was like, 13."
CK Perfect Skin Clean Natural Facial Cleanser: "This has been my cleanser for probably three or four years now. A line made by my dermatologist. I'm adamant about washing my face at night."
CK Perfect Skin Fresh Pads Step 2: "Use these right after I wash."
Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum: "I use Dr. Barbara Sturm Hyaluronic Serum at night. I travel a lot, so I find my skin gets dry and loses its bounce. The Hyaluronic Serum helps with that."
Dr. Barbara Sturm MC1 Cream: "When I explain this to people, they think I sound insane. She took blood from my arm and put it into a machine that spins it and separates the plasma from your blood before putting it into a lotion for your skin. She takes my blood and stores it, so I'll do it once and then go back to restock every couple of months. It is fascinating to me, and it works."
6. Lip Balms:
Aquaphor Healing Ointment: "It's my go-to. I don't particularly use it on my skin as an everyday thing, but always on my eyebrows and lips. You can use it on your lashes too if you're careful. In a polar vortex, I'll put Aquaphor on my face at night. I get dry spots and something thick like that works for me."
Vaseline Lip Therapy: "I would die without lip balm. My two favourites are Aquaphor and Vaseline Original."
Hailey’s Skin Treatments
Drunk Elephant F-Balm Electrolyte Waterfacial: "Looooove this mask."
Dr. Barbara Sturm Clarifying Mask: "Another favourite mask."
SK-II Facial Treatment Mask: "I'm big on really nice masks—good sheet masks. I like the ones by Shiseido and SK-II."
Shiseido Benefiance WrinkleResist24 Pure Retinol Express Smoothing Eye Mask: "If I'm travelling, I really love Shiseido Benefiance masks for my eyes. I do it on the plane. I don't care if I look like a crazy person."
Dr. Barbara Sturm: "I don't do any extraction facials. I don't think those are very good for you, like I don't want somebody poking and prodding at my face all the time! If I'm gonna do them, I'm gonna let a dermatologist do it the way they know how to do it. I let Barbara Sturm do facials on my skin, only. I've enjoyed the results from her the most. I do the PRP [platelet-rich plasma] facials or the glow facials because when you leave your skin is literally radiating, so dewy and beautiful."
HydraFacials: "My skin is really sensitive, so I'm not a huge fan of facials with extractions, which are too hard on my skin. I'm into treatments that are really soothing, like HydraFacials, which use water and suction to cleanse."
Christie Kidd: "I visit my dermatologist as often as possible. She's amazing."
Hailey’s Diet, Exercise and Lifestyle
"Obviously, good skin comes from within so what you're putting in your body really affects how your skin looks. I must say, I'm not the saint of healthy eating. I don't eat healthy all the time because I'm still 21 and I think I can get away with the less healthy stuff for now, but I do try to balance things out. A lot of vegetables and fish, not much meat, minimal dairy. I just feel better when I eat that way. If I go a couple of days eating cheeseburgers, my skin is not going to look great."
"I think drinking a lot of water helps. I try to drink, like, a couple bottles throughout the day. I don't know how many glasses that would amount to, but it's important."
"I went through a phase in life when I was out all the time and drinking a lot but that really wasn't good for my skin. I'd then get a breakout and dry skin. I thought about my lifestyle and habit choices and said to myself, 'am I willing to compromise?' To be honest, I don't get [breakouts] often [anymore]."
OUAI Thinning Hair Supplement: "My hair takes forever to grow. I take all the vitamins possible, and it still grows only a quarter of an inch every six months. Jen Atkin makes the OUAI thinning hair supplements; I'm taking those."
Viviscal Hair Growth Supplement: "And I'm taking Viviscal. I'm really trying!"
Dogpound: "The biggest thing that makes a difference in my looks—and my energy level—is exercising consistently."
Rumble boxing: "I generally like things that are upbeat because otherwise I get bored. I do Rumble boxing all the time. It's basically 45 minutes of intense boxing and cardio."
SLT (Strength Lengthen Tone): "And I enjoy SLT—it's really hard."
Hot Pilates: "I've been doing hot Pilates for around two years now. I first started going to a place in Brooklyn and then I discovered a place out here in L.A. that I've gone to for quite some time now. I find that when you do any hot class your muscles are more pliable and you’re stretched out easier."
Hot 8 Yoga: "I also like hot yoga at Hot 8 when I'm in L.A. I've been a fan of hot yoga for a very long time too."
"Sleep is such a big one because I think when you're travelling so much and you're running around, you don't realize how off your body gets."
Dr. Jocelyne Miranda: "I'm big on the chiropractor. In L.A., I see Jocelyne Miranda. I've had many people work on me, and honestly she's the best I've ever used. I started seeing her because she worked in a doctor's office I was going to. I used to be a ballerina, so I've done everything as far as physical therapy goes."
