How to Do Naomi Watts’ Skincare Routine
After two decades as one of Hollywood’s most in-demand leading ladies, Naomi Watts was starting to see the effects on her skin.
“Working in front of a camera under hot lights takes an incredible toll.... It’s not just the long days; it’s that there’s not just one session in the makeup chair. Makeup is reapplied all day long. It’s a lot of chemical wear and tear on your skin—and my skin started having reactions.”[1]
That’s when the former L’Oréal Paris ambassador, now 52, turned to clean beauty.
“I started off a bit of a skeptic.... I always thought that if it didn’t hurt, it probably wouldn’t work! Once I started trying things, I saw not only real efficacy, but a solid shift in my overly sensitive skin.”[2]
In fact, Naomi’s results were so transformative that she was inspired to embark on a new business venture. In 2016, she teamed up with two friends and business partners to launch the clean beauty emporium ONDA Beauty.
Now, she gets to try all the clean beauty products she likes as part of the retailer’s rigorous vetting process. “We’re vetting things all the time. My bathroom is ridiculous. It’s filled with far too many potions, like an apothecary! You can’t really reverse aging, unless you’re doing highly sophisticated things with machines and knives, but I think you can slow down the aging process by treating skin the right way—doing the double cleanse, exfoliating, using the right creams.”[3]
Here’s what’s in Naomi’s rotation to keep her sensitive skin calm, hydrated and glowing.

“I try to drink tons of water, but I’m not that consistent with it. It’s kind of irritating because when I do, so much of my life is spent running to the restroom, but my skin looks so much better.”
