How to Do Nicole Kidman’s Skincare Routine
“I don’t like dry, scaly skin. Who does?” says Nicole Kidman. “But that’s my skin's tendency.” Not that you’d ever know it, based on the 54-year-old’s flawless complexion both on and off the big screen.
In recent interview, she revealed that her skin is easily irritated, too—but a new ingredient in her routine is calming it down. “I have sensitive skin that’s reactive at times, and CBD helps combat that.”[1]
That’s right; Nicole is the latest celeb to turn to CBD-infused products, which can reduce inflammation, soothe irritation, ease pain and more. In fact, she believes in CBD so much that she recently became the global ambassador for Sera Labs (after previously serving the same role for Neutrogena).
But despite being the face of a skincare brand, she devotes only five minutes to her regimen, morning and night. “I have skin that has to withstand a lot because I travel, I run around, and I’m not really high maintenance. Anything that’s simple and easy, I’ll do it. If it’s complicated, I’m like, ‘No.’”[2]
Here are the products that Nicole swears by to keep her skin healthy and moisturized.

Her Diet, Exercise and Lifestyle
Diet
“I'm actually not that strict with my diet. I pretty much eat anything, but all in moderation.”
Water
“What my husband taught me is water, water, water. We drink so much water. I didn’t realize how important it was to hydrate and flush out. But because he’s a singer, that’s part of his routine. They know that they have to drink and that it helps the chords, but it also helps the skin; it helps all the organs. It keeps you healthy.”

Acupuncture
“I love acupuncture—it’s something I’ve been doing since I was about 17 years old.”
Attitude
“I think the focus on age is ridiculous now because everyone keeps saying 40 is the new 30, 50 is the new 40, all of those. Well, hold on, just be. It’s that simple. I think once you take labels and numbers away and you just let women be—and men, because they’re in the same boat—defining yourself is a much better way of doing it. You know, women are having children so much later now. Everything is shifting, so I think the message is taking it off numbers.”
