When you think of Walmart, you probably think about its vast array of homewares, appliances, clothing, toys or groceries. But amazing skincare products? Maybe not.
Sure, Walmart has long been a destination for drugstore beauty essentials. What you might not know is that it's now also stocking some of the best Korean lines, clean beauty formulas, and everything in between.
I was surprised to discover my Holy Grail retinoid and BHA treatment, along with some of my all-time favourite brands (like Versed, Pyunkang Yul and Benton). I even found my go-to micellar water, lanolin balm and collagen supplement!

The Best Walmart Skincare Products of 2022
A313 Cosmetic Cream with Retinyl Palmitate
It’s no secret that I love A313 Cosmetic Cream with Retinyl Palmitate. This made-in-France retinoid treatment is so effective that I’ve gone through multiple tubes over the last few years! With the texture of an ointment, it packs a potent, stabilized dose of retinyl palmitate to help with signs of aging, breakouts, pigmentation and large pores. See my full review here.
COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid
COSRX BHA Blackhead Power Liquid is a K-beauty BHA treatment that I can't live without. It contains 4% betaine salicylate, a gentler and more hydrating alternative to salicylic acid, in a non-greasy liquid-gel. I swear by this product for treating and preventing breakouts, smoothing my skin, and giving me a glow. See my full review here.
Foreo Luna Mini 2
If you’re not using a cleansing brush as part of your nighttime skincare routine, the Foreo Luna Mini 2 could be a real game-changer. This travel-friendly, waterproof device is far more effective than washing with your fingers alone. Thanks to the gentle silicone bristles and sonic pulsations, it takes off 99.9% of dirt, oil, makeup and dead skin.
Bioderma Sensibio H2O
The OG micellar water, Bioderma Sensibio H2O, is a cult classic for a reason. I swear by it for removing any type of makeup without irritating sensitive skin or eyes. It does such a good job, it can even replace your regular cleanser. This has been one of my staples for the past decade!
Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream
Pyunkang Yul Moisture Cream is a lightweight but nourishing moisturizer that I think is suitable for just about everyone. Created by the renowned Pyunkang Oriental Medicine Clinic in Seoul, Korea (which focuses on sensitive skin in particular), it is both silicone-free and fragrance-free. It also sinks in fast for a fresh, non-greasy finish.
Versed Dew Point Moisturizing Gel-Cream
Another moisturizer that I highly recommend is Versed Dew Point Moisturizing Gel-Cream. It has a weightless gel-cream texture that feels amazing on your skin, but it’s also really nourishing, thanks to its mix of squalane, hyaluronic acid and jojoba oil (and no silicones or fragrance). No wonder one tube sells every two minutes!
Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner
As one of my favourite toners, Benton Aloe BHA Skin Toner has exfoliating, calming, hydrating and clarifying benefits. The magic ingredients are aloe vera, snail mucin and 0.5% salicylic acid, which work together to moisturize, calm inflammation, and remove dead skin and sebum. Any skin type can use this after cleansing and before acids or hydrators.
Differin Adapalene Gel 0.1% Acne Treatment
Believe it or not, you can now get one of the most powerful retinoids without a prescription (and without breaking the bank!). Differin Adapalene Gel 0.1% Acne Treatment contains 0.1% adapalene, which is superior to tretinoin for treating acne, with less irritation. It also helps with wrinkles and sun damage—but go slow, because this stuff is strong!
Mad Hippie Vitamin C Serum
If you’re looking for a gentle but effective vitamin C serum, Mad Hippie Vitamin C Serum should be on your list. This clean formula is high in sodium ascorbyl phosphate, a stable, non-irritating alternative to L-ascorbic acid with brightening, antioxidant and anti-acne benefits. It’s bolstered by ferulic acid and vitamin E, and is free of fragrance and silicone.
Mario Badsecu Enzyme Cleansing Gel
Mario Badsecu Enzyme Cleansing Gel has been around for as long as I can remember, and it’s still a bestseller to this day. This non-foaming, sulfate-free gel cleanser is ideal for oily and combination skin. It’s so beloved because it effortlessly removes excess oil, makeup and debris, but doesn’t dry out your skin.
Peter Thomas Roth Oilless Oil 100% Purified Squalane
As you probably know, I’m a huge fan of squalane oils like Peter Thomas Roth Oilless Oil 100% Purified Squalane. Derived from sugarcane, this is a thin, lightweight and non-comedogenic oil that is well-tolerated by virtually all skin. I like to call it “the oil for people who hate oils” because it sinks in so fast and never feels greasy.
Hydrocolloid patches are a must-try for anyone dealing with breakouts—and none are cuter than Starface Hydro-Stars. The star-shaped stickers protect blemishes from bacteria while reducing inflammation and absorbing fluid. So they’ll help you heal faster, and you’ll be less tempted to pick your pimples (therefore preventing scarring).
Derma E Sun Protection Mineral Powder SPF 30
We all know how important it is to shield your skin from the sun—and with Derma E Sun Protection Mineral Powder SPF 30, you can top up your protection anytime, anywhere. This is a powder sunscreen that is transparent on all skin tones. It protects with 20% zinc oxide and 17.29% titanium dioxide, and you can just brush it on, right over your makeup.
Avène Thermal Spring Water
Thermal water face mists like Avène Thermal Spring Water are a must-have. They’re great for refreshing your skin, removing excess oil when there’s no time for a full cleanse, and calming down redness and inflammation. You can even use them underneath your moisturizer for an extra layer of hydration, or as your last step after makeup to take away any powdery residue.
Aromatica Organic Aloe Vera Gel
Aloe vera gels aren’t just for sunburns. Aromatica Organic Aloe Vera Gel is so clean, lightweight and fast-absorbing that you can also use it as your regular face or body moisturizer. It’s made with 95.2% aloe vera, and is free of fragrance, silicones and dyes. Plus it comes in a glass bottle with a convenient pump.
Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream
First launched in 1991, Egyptian Magic All Purpose Skin Cream has been a cult product for as long as I can remember. But I wouldn’t describe it as a cream—it has more of a balm texture, since it’s made of olive oil, beeswax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly and propolis. That makes it highly multi-purpose. You can use it as a moisturizer, eye cream, shaving balm, dewy highlighter and so much more.
By Terry Baume de Rose
By Terry Baume de Rose is one of the most splurge-worthy products. This rich, buttery lip balm was created by French makeup artist turned entrepreneur Terry de Gunzberg, and it has become a cult classic. It’s lightly scented with rose, and forms a protective veil on your lips that lasts for hours.
Lansinoh Lanolin Nipple Cream
For a more affordable way to heal dry, chapped lips, you can’t go wrong with pure, medical-grade lanolin. That’s exactly what you’ll find in a tube of Lansinoh Lanolin Nipple Cream. Although it’s technically marketed for sore nipples from breastfeeding, those in the know use it as a nourishing, glossy lip balm.
Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides
If there’s one beauty supplement I recommend, it’s collagen peptides. Did you know that they are clinically proven to increase both skin hydration and skin density? I’ve been taking Vital Proteins Collagen Peptides for many years now—it’s the highest-quality unflavoured collagen that dissolves easily in your coffee, juice or smoothie.
